
Black Rabbit is a full-service creative content and production agency working across beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands. The agency creates culturally relevant advertising campaigns for ATL and social media, with creative direction at its core and supported by a team of expert producers.
This project redefined the agency’s offer, bringing internal clarity while solidifying and expanding communications to drive the business forward. By defining the personality, one that perfectly reflected the founder’s approach, it laid a strong foundation that has allowed the agency to evolve seamlessly. The goal was to shift perceptions of Black Rabbit, taking it from a small studio to an established agency, making the brand feel less passive and more immediate. Through market research and cross-category analysis, there was the opportunity to challenge industry norms by reflecting the agency’s creative vision and can-do attitude at the heart of the new identity.
The creative direction, inspired by the concept of ‘rebel dreamers’, blends the tonal language of soft-punk with Parisian luxe. It balances rebelliousness with refined elegance, crafting a feminine leaning identity with attitude and edge. The visual system captures the energy of the agency while balancing it against a strong, versatile visual portfolio. The identity takes an unapologetically expressive, ‘everything all at once’ approach. It is highly dynamic, blending tactile ink textures with a confident, structured typographic system and a bold, minimalist, primary colour palette.
The motion-first website, built on Next.js for ultra-fast performance, presents a restructured portfolio and case studies aligned with the agency’s redefined offer. Distinct categories clearly communicate expertise and make it easy for clients to navigate the work. The showreel captures the immediacy and impact of content creation, amplifying the agency’s credentials and giving visitors a sense of its creative vision from the moment they land on the site.
The about copy delivers clarity while reflecting the agency’s attitude, supported by punchy, irreverent statements, overlaid on image to infuse client work with the graphic identity. The tagline ‘Welcome to Product Crush’ reflects the agency’s creative vision of making product marketing sensory and memorable, creating desire and inspiring customers to fall in love with a product.
The social identity was evolved to be bold and playful, communicating services, work and clients and in a way that feels alive and true to the agency’s spirit. Core brand elements were amplified with striking patterns, confident typography, dynamic colour combinations, and creative copy that cuts through the scroll.
Sub-identities were developed to define content channels and to increase engagement on social while showcasing the business in a more current and human way. These channels give the founder and team a platform to speak directly their audience, sharing expertise and insights in a relatable and approachable style that aligns with the agency’s services.
